Mug with Lid, Chinese Mountain Scene, Xuanhua, China, Vintage

• Vintage: circa 1980's 
• Details:  This is a very nice tea mug, or coffee mug with lid, for all our chinoiserie lovers.  it features a very serene Asian mountain range scene with a large Oriental pagoda. On the right side is a row of Chinese characters, known as a chop mark or artist mark.  The lid is all white except for a small platinum star on the finial and platinum border. The porcelain is not smooth, it has an embossed swirl design all around the outside.  It is stamped on the bottom with a flying crane logo and the words: "XUANHUA SAN CI".  A very pretty, and unique addition to your mug collection!
• Materials:  Ceramic
• Dimension:  3.25 inches Tall, 3 1/8 inches in Diameter at the top opening, 2.75 inches in Diameter at the bottom.  It is 4.5 inches Wide (including handle) and approx. 4.0 inches Tall (including the lid)
• Condition:  Vintage - Used.  Very Good Condition. There are no cracks, chips, or scratches. Some wear on the silver rim, acceptable due to age/use/wear.  Please review all pictures and make sure you love this item before purchasing, we can't accept returns.  Please remember these are VINTAGE and ANTIQUE items, they are NOT new, every effort has been made to show any scratches, wear  and imperfections. 

Xuanhua is an urban district of Zhangjiakou in northwestern Hebei Province, China.  It is a very old city with a rich military and agricultural history. Xuanhua was historically the "Gateway to Beijing".  There are many pottery makers in this region, we were unable to identify this specific one.
